Chim Sao project, Vietnam

ALE completed two load-outs at PTSC PHU MY port for the Chim Sao project, Vietnam.

The first load-out comprised of two 144m long piles with a total weight of 731.85te, whereas the second load-out included two 124m long and two 146m long piles with a combined weight of 1,167.71te. The piles were loaded-out to the Chim Sao Discovery Well located around 400 kilometres South East of Ho Chi Minh City.

ALE were responsible for the engineering works, weighing, load-out, ballasting and mooring during this project and were challenged by a strong river current of around 3.5 to 4 knots during the load-out.
